Beng Mealea
Start your journey with a drive through Cambodia’s beautiful countryside on the way to Beng Mealea. Along the route, you’ll pass by traditional villages, rice fields, and sugar palm trees, offering plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. Once at Beng Mealea, explore this vast, mysterious temple, often called the “jungle temple.” Overgrown with vines and trees, its crumbling walls and hidden passageways create an atmosphere of adventure and wonder, transporting you back to the days of the Khmer Empire.
Lunch Break
After the exploration of Beng Mealea, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Relax and enjoy some traditional Khmer dishes before heading to your next destination.
Ruluos Group Temples (Preah Ko, LoLei, and Bakong)
After lunch, visit the Ruluos Group, some of the earliest temples built by the Khmer Empire. Explore Preah Ko, with its intricate carvings and serene atmosphere, and LoLei, a temple constructed on an island reflecting the architectural style of the period. Finally, discover Bakong, a majestic pyramid temple surrounded by gardens and water features. These temples not only showcase early Khmer artistry but also offer a glimpse into the religious and cultural history of Cambodia.

Each person will need at least a 1 day Angkor Wat ticket. Although, we recommend getting a 3 day Angkor ticket as on this tour we will not be visiting Angkor Wat and the other major temples. Read more about the Angkor Wat Pass.
